For your average middle schooler, 5th-8th grade, I think this would be a fun book. It's quick-paced, it's quirky, and there's a lot of snark and humor. Overall, it's a fun, lighthearted book that reads like jazz or blues music. I'd almost suggest listening to Miles Davis or John Coltrane or Dizzy Gillespie
